FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions:
Where are you located?
I am independently contracted at The Pit Gym in Eatontown, NJ. Personal training hours of operation are 7am-7:30pm Monday - Friday. 8am-1pm on weekends.
Do you only work with strength athletes?
Most in person clients are general population individuals looking to lose weight, get in shape, and stay on track. I also work with high school and college athletes focusing on strength and conditioning for their sport.
How do I set appointments?
If you consistently train on the same day and time weekly I can reserve that time for you. If you need to change a session date and time notify me as soon as possible. The sooner I know the easier it is for me to make accommodations.
How do you take payments?
I take cash, checks, or card for personal training services. Checks can be made out to “Cooney Strength and Conditioning LLC”. For online coaching services I will send an invoice via email and payment is done through PayPal. There is a 3.5% surcharge for card payments on sessions.
How do I contact you?
Feel free to call or text if you need to contact me. I stay off of my phone during sessions so that clients get my undivided attention. I will respond as soon as I am free or available to get back. If you text me after 8pm expect a text back from me in the morning. Feel free to pick up the phone and talk to me directly.
What happens if I have to cancel a session?
I reserve the right to charge clients for last minute cancellations or no shows. My business operates by appointment, therefore I need 24 hour notice ahead of time if you’d like to change an appointment date or time. Generally I’m very flexible and happy to make adjustments, just give me enough time to prepare and adjust my schedule. Please respect my time.
What's the deal with bulk sessions?
Bulk sessions are specifically priced at a lower rate in order to incentivize training more frequently and help clients get better results. This package requires clients to train twice a week. Sessions will expire after 60 days if they are not used. I will provide notification ahead of time and am very flexible with extenuating circumstances.
Can I give you feedback?
Please do not hesitate to give me feedback. If you need me to help you in a certain area or are struggling with a certain issues, let me know! If I am not meeting your expectations tell me, I can take it. Feedback allows me to make adjustments and improve my business and services.
